The Arboreta Farmer Development Foundation is a dynamic impact-driven organization dedicated to empowering smallholder farmers through vibrant sustainable horticulture practices. Established in 2024, ARBORETA is making a significant impact on livelihoods, promoting climate-smart agriculture, and supporting environmental conservation through integrated water management and horticulture systems. Our ambitious vision aims to create a sustainable future where new greenhouse technologies and environmental stewardship drive economic growth, food security, and ecological restoration. We are committed to long-term sustainability, embracing cutting-edge techniques, and collaborating with communities to inspire positive change!

HOW WE WORK
Through strategic partnerships with international philantropic donors and foundations we accelerate the design and implementation of climate resilient farming systems for the production of organic botanical crops, example Hibiscus sabdariffa, mainly for export.

The focus is on reducing water and chemical use, reducing the carbon footprint, and increasing household incomes as well as creating jobs for the rural youth.
